Dr Mide Ojo

Dr Olumide Ojo (better known as Mide), is the owner and principal dentist at Refresh Dental Health. Mide is general dentist with a huge passion for preventative care and restoring smiles in a relaxed, friendly environment. He qualified in 2005 from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne with a Distinction in his Dental degree.

With over 10 years’ of experience in general, cosmetic and surgical dentistry, Mide has the expertise to diagnose early, care for and when necessary treat dental patients. He offers a full range of treatments from general health dentistry through to cosmetic, surgical implants, orthodontics and tooth straightening procedures, facial aesthetics and sedation techniques for anxious patients, all in a relaxed and pain-free environment. Throughout his career, Mide has constantly strived for self-improvement and completed further education in a number of specialist fields, training extensively in the UK, Europe and USA. He maintains full membership to both the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Royal College of Surgeons London. As a national lecturer for CFAST Orthodontic Systems, Mide enjoys teaching other dentists countrywide and also has a number of publication in scientific dental journals. Recently, Mide has enjoyed positive recognition within his profession. He is proud to have been part of the team winning Best UK Dental Practice 2016 and was also shortlisted as a finalist for Best Young Dentist across the UK twice in succession (2015, 2016). This year, at the Aesthetic Dental Award 2017, Mide was highly commended in the category of restorative dentistry. “I believe good oral health start with good education and I have a passion for raising awareness particularly among the younger generation. Within my locality, I enjoy being invited into schools to give educational talks on the importance of good oral health.” Outside of work, Mide enjoys spending time with his wife Ife, and two young daughters Tiwa and Simi who are both very excited as Daddy’s new practice is on the way home from school/nursery! Mide played football to high standard but in later years has moved onto more sedate sports like golf and squash.

Shelley Joubert

Practice ManagerGDC: 201825

Shelley joined the Refresh team in July 2017. She started out as most practice managers by obtained her nursing NEBDN in 2008 and went on to qualify as an oral health educator. She also specialised in Implant, orthodontic and sedation nursing. And in 2013 she obtained a certificate in treatment coordinating.

As the Practice Manager she is responsible for managing all non-clinical aspectst o achieve excellent patient care, quality, and delivery performance in line with Refresh Dental’s goals and values. Shelley leads our amazing team and works closely with our clinicians by providing support and direction to enhance their performance, skills and knowledge. She enjoys the variation in her day, which although demanding at times, is rewarding and exciting. In her spare time, Shelley enjoys photography, interior design, and spending time with her two daughters and husband.

Dr Lisa Kienert

General Dentist BDS (Zahnarzt, Germany) GDC : 188491

Dr Lisa Kienert has been part of the Refresh Dental team since the practice opened in 2017. She qualified from the University of Dresden (Germany) in 2009 and worked between the UK and Germany before moving to London in 2015. Lisa is an experienced and highly regarded practitioner with a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. She strongly believes in continuous education so that the latest techniques are reflected in her work. Lisa completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at the Dominic Hassall Training Institute in 2019 and is a Level 1&2 Certified Bioclear Practitioner trained at the UK's only Bioclear International Learning Centre in Solihull.

Passionate about maintaining a positive dental experience, Lisa ensures that enough time is dedicated to listening to her patients’ desires and concerns. She explains available treatment options with their advantages and drawbacks and makes sure her patients feel confident every step of the way. In addition to her eye for detail, a range of dental treatment systems and techniques help Lisa creating beautiful smiles for her patients. This includes e.g.: Teeth whitening, Invisalign (clear aligner system), Bioclear (minimally invasive system specifically designed to help treating challenging clinical situations like diastemas, black triangles, peg laterals etc) and Smilefast / composite bonding. Outside of work, Lisa spends most of her time with her husband, her little boy and her two cats. She also enjoys all kinds of creative work (photography, crafting, sewing, DIY work), fashion and Yoga and loves travelling to different countries, getting to know their cultures and cuisines.

Dr Zeena Adnan

General Dentist & Facial Aesthetics AestheticianBDS (Ontario, Canada)

Dr. Zeena brings to the table a track record of academic excellence along with 7 years of clinical experience. After receiving the Dean’s Honour list distinction upon graduating from Western University in Canada in 2015, she completed a year of Post Graduate Residency at 3 major hospitals in Ontario in 2016.

Dr. Zeena enjoys the different aspects of general dentistry, from family dentistry where she thrives on prevention and oral health education, to restorative dentistry where she believes in saving the natural tooth structure wherever possible. However, her passion lies in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. She finds the journey of a smile transformation very rewarding, whether that is teeth alignment (Invisalign), teeth whitening, and/or composite bonding and veneers. Furthermore, she uses facial injectables to further compliment any aesthetics treatment. She believes in connecting with her patients and involving them in making the right choices for their dental health. Thus, ensuring their satisfaction in every step of their dental experience, which is her ultimate goal. When Dr. Zeena is not at the clinic, she is either attending further education courses or traveling to explore different cultures and histories. Furthermore, she also enjoys pencil drawing and reading a good book after a long day.

Dr. Ryan Jenkins

General DentistBDS Glasgow

Ryan qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 2013 with an honours degree in medical science before going on to study dentistry at the Aberdeen Institute of Dentistry. Whilst studying, he developed an interest in Endodontics and was awarded the nomination for the Tom Pitt-Ford undergraduate prize in endodontology and, during his foundation training year, was awarded the prize for ‘Best Case Presentation’.

Shortly after graduating Ryan enrolled on a 19 month postgraduate diploma in clinical orthodontics. During this period of study Ryan worked as a general dentist in a busy mixed NHS/PVT practice in Glasgow. Upon completion of the diploma Ryan was given the opportunity to work at a new specialist led facility in Edinburgh where he provided all aspects of general dentistry as well as supporting his specialist colleagues with more complex treatment plans. Ryan has recently completed his training in inhalation sedation and provides these services for anxious children and adults. In Ryan’s spare time he enjoys travelling and spending time with his family in Scotland.

Dr Puneet Chopra

Puneet joined the Refresh Team in Summer 2020. He graduated from the prestigious Royal London School of Dentistry in 2013 after previously completing a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at Kings College London. He has also completed the MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Puneet is an enthusiastic and friendly dentist, who is extremely dedicated to his profession. He enjoys meeting new patients and providing high quality painless treatments, in a relaxed atmosphere. His calm and collected demeanour helps to keep nervous patients at ease. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry and provides clear braces (Invisalign), helping his patients achieve a functional, healthy and beautiful smile. He enjoys attending various courses to continue developing his knowledge and skills, as well as keeping up to date with the latest changes in Dentistry. He has recently completed a post-graduate certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry to further develop his clinical skills. Outside of Dentistry he enjoys experiencing new cuisines and spending time with his family. He has a strong passion for travelling and exploring different cultures.

Dr Eassun Ranvindran

General DentistBDS MFDS RCS.Ed, Dip Imp Rest Dent, PG.Cert (Imp)

Dr Eassun Ravindran, originally from North Yorkshire, graduated from Newcastle University in 2015. In 2017, he further qualified and gained the membership of the faculty of dental surgeons, accredited to the royal surgeons. He has done numerous post graduate courses to enhance his skills in different dental fields. He has attained a Certification in Practical Implantology and a Diploma in Implant and Restorative Dentistry. He specialises in cosmetic and implant dentistry with a keen interest in multi disciplinary smile makeovers including composite bonding, porcelain veneers coupled with his implant work. He focuses on achieving an aesthetic outcome for all his patients whilst maintaining and achieving long term functionality. He currently accepts external and internal referrals for simple and complex implant cases as well as being a GDC registered mentor for dental implant placement. Dr Eassun had been working in one of the most prestigious private practices in North East England before making the transfer south in order to be closer to his family. He has a young family of his own which keep his hands full when he is away from the practice. Outside of dentistry, he likes to keep himself active and fit, playing football for a local team, playing Padel Tennis, Golf, Running and has recently completed his 2nd hyrox race!

Dr Amar 'Lal-Sarin

EndodontistBDS (Birm) MEndo RCS (Eng) MClindent (UCL) MFDS RCS(Ed) GDC no: 210134

Amar joined the Refresh Dental team in 2021. A graduate from the University of Birmingham, Amar started his dental career in Oxford, where he remained as an associate for 7 years.

Having an interest in restorative dentistry he completed his MClinDent in Endodontology at the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute and was awarded a merit. He subsequently passed the England and Edinburgh membership in endodontic exams and was accepted on the specialist register. He has an interest in mental visualization and cognitive behaviour and previously lectured for Health Education England at the educational supervisors conference as well as assessing postgraduates at the Eastman Dental Institute. Amar’s main interests include challenging diagnosis cases, trauma, sclerosed and curved canals. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and swimming, having completed a number of Ironman and sprint triathlons.

Dr Annika Patel

OrthodontistBDS (London), MJDF RCS (Eng), MSc (London) MOrth RCS (Edin)

Annika qualified with both her undergraduate Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree and postgraduate Masters in Orthodontics from King’s College London. She undertook her specialist training in Orthodontics at Guy’s Hospital and the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. This allowed her to treat both child and adult patients, requiring multidisciplinary care from other specialties.

In addition, Annika has treated a number of adult patients with lingual orthodontics systems, and is an advanced Incognito user, allowing her patients to have discrete and aesthetic treatment. Her Master’s research looking at websites and orthodontic marketing was published in the European Journal of Orthodontics and presented at a Medical World Congress in Maui, Hawaii – She has also been invited to speak both regionally and internationally, in Austria and Italy. Annika believes that orthodontics is where Art meets Science and out of work she has a keen interest in the History of Art, painting and attending current exhibitions. She enjoys her annual ski trips, playing squash and making the most out of life

Dr Shad Jaff

Dr. Shad Jaff graduated from Dentistry with a passion for the cosmetic side of things - it allowed Shad to explore the artistic side of dentistry. Challenging the status quo and maintaining meticulous attention to detail ensures remarkably rewarding results for Dr Shad and his patients.

Shad had graduated from Glasgow University with Commendation in Dental Surgery and has been working in NHS and Private Dentistry along side facial aesthetics clinics. He has always had a passion for art and finally worked that into his career with facial aesthetics in his first year after qualifying. Since then, he has completed multiple courses and attends regular conferences across the UK to keep his skills as up to date as possible and continue to provide the best practice for his clients. Those who know Dr Shad best, know that his professional diary is always packed full! When not working, Shad enjoys squeezing in time for life and family. Travelling is always a big part of his annual calendar.

Bukola Ogunyemi

Dental Hygienist & Therapist BSc Dental Hygiene and Therapy

Bukola qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist with a BSc from the University of Essex, and has worked within dentistry for 10+ years. Bukola joined the Refresh family in March 2023.

Bukola has a welcoming demeanour and friendly approach, and is passionate about great oral hygiene and preventative care. Bukola works closely with the dental team to help patients achieve their dream smile. As a Therapist, Bukola can provide a wide range of treatments including teeth whitening, composite restorations, composite bonding, periodontal treatment, paediatric dentistry and much more. During her spare time, Bukola loves to travel, read, and enjoys fine dining.

Imogen Fox

Dental Hygienist & Therapist BSc Dental Hygiene and Therapy

Imogen graduated from the University of Manchester in 2011 as a Dental Therapist and Hygienist. She has a clinical background in head and neck cancer care, having worked as a Macmillan Dental Therapist for 7 years for the Oxford University Hospitals. Imogen worked as an undergraduate tutor for 5 years and continues to work for Kings College Hospital in their Special Care Dental services. Imogen is passionate about delivering positive patient experiences.

Imogen has had an array of articles published and won several professional dental industry awards. She has spoken at dental events such as The Dentistry Show and Dental Tubules and is regularly involved in professional education events with NSK and Oral B. At home, Imogen has two little boys. As well as time with her family, she enjoys good food, live music and travel. Imogen grew up in Cornwall and loves a sailing adventure (when the sun shines!). She is also a certified coastal yacht master.

Nhyira Quainoo

Dental Hygienist & Therapist BSc Dental Hygiene and Therapy

Nhyira qualified with a BSc in Dental hygiene and therapy from the University of Birmingham. She has experience treating patients of all ages using a friendly approach to guide them through experiencing a dental environment.  

Nhyira is trained in providing both periodontal and restorative treatment, and is always focused on providing the most comfortable and effective treatment experience to all her patients. Nhyira is passionate about oral health and focuses on taking a preventative approach to dental care. Making sure to tailor advice to patient needs with the newest information from dental experts around the world.  Outside of work, Nhyira likes travelling with friends, reading, and relaxing in front of a good tv show.

Sarah Alltree

Dental HygienistGDC: 4965

Sarah qualified as a hygienist at Cardiff Dental Hospital in 1995 and for the last 19 years has enjoyed working in the Richmond and Twickenham area. She joined the Refresh team in July 2018 and is now known for her gentle touch and painless treatments.

She is passionate about the care she offers her patients; always striving to deliver the best treatment by keeping up to date with the latest techniques. She particularly enjoys building a rapport with patients and watching them grow from strength to strength. Sarah lives in Twickenham with her husband and twin boys, enjoys making soft furnishings and can be regularly found in the various parks either running or walking her dog.

Shaina Lawrence

Dental Hygienist & TherapistBSc Dental Hygiene

Shaina also known as Shay trained and qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from the Royal London school of Medicine and Dentistry and joined the Refresh team in January 2020. She is known for her friendly and gentle approach and always strives to provide a relaxing environment during treament.

As a Therapist, Shay can provide a range of treatments including teeth whitening, cosmetic teeth cleaning, periodontal (gum disease) treatment, composite restorations and paediatric dentistry. She is very prevention focused and passionate about improving the oral health of her patients; the care she provides is tailored to each individual’s needs whether cosmetic or health related. Shay cares for smiles of all ages but has a special interest in treating young children. Away from work Shay likes to socialise with friends and family and enjoys trying out new cuisines as she is a big foodie- Thai is her fav!

Nicola Carroll

Assistant Manager

Nicola joined the Refresh front of house team in January 2018. Originally a dental nurse within the practice, Nicola gained her NEBDN qualification in 2013. She further gained her dental radiography and dental sedation qualifications. In 2024 Nicola became our Assistant Practice Manager.

Over these years, Nicola found her passion in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. She takes pride in delivering a “first class” customer experience. You can meet Nic on most days and she will always be on hand with a welcoming smile to help you in any way she can during your time at Refresh Dental. In her spare time, Nicola enjoys spending time in the gym and with her friends and family.

Darija Barsukova

Treatment Coordinator NEBDN

Darija is our exceptional Dental Treatment Coordinator and Orthodontic Patient Coordinator. With background in dental nursing spanning over seven years, Darija brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. As the first point of contact at our reception, Darija's friendly and professional demeanour ensures that every patient feels welcomed and valued from the moment they step into our practice.

Darija excels in coordinating dental treatments and managing orthodontic patient care, ensuring that each patient’s journey is smooth and stress-free. Her ability to communicate effectively and compassionately makes her an invaluable resource for our patients, helping them navigate their treatment plans with confidence. Outside of work, Darija loves spending time with cat, reading, and relaxing in front of a good tv show.

Nancy Berry

Front of house

Nancy joined the Refresh Dental team in July 2022. Previously, Nancy worked in a leisure centre for 10 years running the Exercise Referral Scheme which focused on helping patients with specific health conditions to become more active. She has a level 3 qualification in personal training and level 4 in cardiac rehabilitation. She has also had previous experience on Front of House having worked in two 5 star hotel spas so she is passionate about providing a friendly and professional atmosphere to the practice! She is excited about her new career path in dentistry and cant wait to see what's next!

In her spare time, Nancy is a self-taught makeup artist and regularly posts her makeup creations on Instagram. She enjoys keeping herself active, socialising (especially down the pub!) and is a huge lover of cats!

Ania Cebul

Ania, is our highly esteemed Head Nurse, whose expertise and dedication are the backbone of our clinical team. Anna brings a wealth of experience to her role, having worked in the dental field for over a decade. Her exceptional skills in patient care, combined with her extensive knowledge of dental procedures, ensure that our practice maintains the highest standards of excellence.

Anna is known for her compassionate approach and her ability to make patients feel at ease. Her leadership qualities and commitment to continuous learning inspire our team to strive for excellence in all aspects of their work. In her spare time, Ania goes sailing with her 2 daughters and husband.

Frances Arteza

Trainee Dental Nurse

Frances is a dedicated trainee dental nurse who joined Refresh Dental in 2023Frances is passionaate about giving it all when it comes to patient care. She has a compassionate approach and ensures every patient feels comfortable and well care for.

Frances is excited to continue developing her skills and contributing to Refresh Dental’s mission of delivering excellent care. In Frances spare time she loves watching films and spending time with friends and her little niece.

Leonne O'Sullivan

Leonne is a skilled dental nurse who qualified in 2022 and joined Refresh shortly after. She brings a strong passion for orthodontic nursing to the team. With a keen interest in helping patients achieve their best smiles, Leonne specialises in supporting all dental treatments and ensuring a smooth, comfortable experience for patients.

In her spare time, Leonne is dedicated to personal growth and wellness, having studied nutrition coaching to further her knowledge of health. A fitness enthusiast, she enjoys spending time at the gym, balancing her professional expertise with a commitment to holistic well-being.

Magdalena

Dental Implant Coordinator

Magda started her dental journey in 2016 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2018 upon completing the NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing. She joined the Refresh dental team in 2019 and is now our Dental Implant Coordinator.

During this time she has gained experience in general, cosmetic dentistry, and Implants surgery. She is highly motivated and happy to develop her dental experience in all aspects. If you are considering dental implants and want to know more, Magda is your a first point of contact. She is knowledgeable about implants and has relevant clinical experience. Magda understands the dental implant treatment process, so she can help answer any initial questions you may have, before you meet the dentist. She will then guide you through your implant journey accurately informed, with confidence, peace of mind and the best possible care. In Magda’s spare time she enjoys the outdoors, long walks in the forest, and visiting places of interest. She’s a time family girl and listens to 80’s -90’s music.

Monika Wolska

Monika is our dedicated Lead Nurse who plays a pivotal role in our cosmetic dentistry and implant procedures. Monika works closely alongside Dr. Mide, ensuring that every cosmetic and implant treatment is executed with precision and care. With over 6 years of experience in the dental field, Monika has honed her skills in these specialised areas, making her an invaluable asset to our team.

Her ability to provide exceptional support during complex procedures, coupled with her warm and reassuring demeanour, helps create a positive and comfortable experience for our patients. In Monika’s spare time, she loves travelling and going on exciting adventures.
